What's In The Pond
The pond is a real mixed fishery with a
wide selection of coarse fish stocked including :

Roach
-
Rudd
-
Bream
-
Hybrids
-
Tench
-
Crucian Carp
-
King Carp
Roach have been caught
to 1½lb, bream to 3½lb and carp to 7½lb but we suspect
that a few larger specimens are lurking in the deeper
parts of the lake.
Annual membership will
soon be full but limited day tickets will be available
for TFAC club members

How To Find The Lake
The lake is situated just outside
Ipplepen on the road to Broadhempston, on the Orley
Road. The lake belongs to Well Barn Farm and Tackle
Frenzy has managed to secure the fishing rights on this
beautiful mixed fishery.
Fishery Rules
-
No audible
bite alarms to be used. The fishery owner lives next
to the lake and we wish to preserve the tranquil
environment
-
No boilies
to be used (soft boilies of 10mm or smaller may be
used on the hook or hair only)
-
Not more
than 2kg of bait to be used per angler per day
-
Maximum
10lb breaking strain line
-
NO BRAID
EITHER AS MAINLINE OR HOOKLINKS. We wish to preserve
the lilies
-
No hooks
larger than size 10
-
Fishing is
dawn to dusk only, night fishing is not permitted

There is only a limited number of annual
licences available from the Tackle Frenzy shop, please
call in for details. Annual licences are being offered
to existing club members first with any remaining
licences being offered to club members that join after
1st October 2008 |
